Ingredients:
- 1 ripe avocado
- 1/2 cup of sprouts (alfalfa, clover, or your favorite sprout)
- 1 whole wheat pita
- Salt, pepper & lemon juice to taste
Optional toppings:
- feta cheese
- tzatziki sauce
- hummus (try the raw hummus recipe!)
Instructions:
- Cut the avocado in half and remove the pit. Scoop out the flesh and mash it with a fork. Season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
- Warm the pita in the oven or on a skillet for a few seconds until warm and pliable.
- Spread the mashed avocado on the pita.
- Add the sprouts and any other toppings of your choice.
